How much does in-home care cost?

Every family's needs are different, so we build each care plan around your loved one's needs, schedule and budget. We offer flexible options, from a few hours a week to 24-hour live-in care, and our team will help you find a plan that fits your budget. Call us at (425) 790-0005 for a free, no-pressure conversation about pricing.

What payment options do you accept?

We currently work with private-pay clients, long-term care insurance, and Washington State Department of Labor & Industries (L&I) workers' compensation claims. Not sure what your coverage includes? Call us and we'll walk through your options together.

Do you accept long-term care insurance?

Yes. We work with long-term care insurance policies and can help your family with the care documentation your insurer requests. Coverage and benefit amounts depend on your specific policy, so we recommend contacting your insurer as well.

Do you work with L&I workers' compensation?

Yes. We provide in-home care for injured workers when home care has been authorized under a Washington L&I claim. Call us with your claim information and we'll help coordinate care.

What areas do you serve?

Veritas Family Home Care is based in North Seattle and serves Seattle, Shoreline, Lake Forest Park, Edmonds and Mountlake Terrace, including neighborhoods such as Green Lake, Greenwood, Northgate, Wallingford and Ballard.

What services do you provide?

Our caregivers provide personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming), companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments, respite care for family caregivers, dementia and Alzheimer's care, post-hospital support, and 24-hour live-in care.

What is the difference between home care and home health care?

Home care, which is what we provide, is non-medical help with daily living: personal care, companionship, meals, reminders and household support. Home health care is skilled medical care, such as nursing or therapy, ordered by a doctor. Many families use both.

Are your caregivers screened and trained?

Yes. Every caregiver passes a background check and completes training before caring for clients, and we match each caregiver to your loved one's needs and personality. Veritas Family Home Care is licensed by Washington State (In-Home Services Agency, License No. IHS.FS.70134836) and insured.

Do you provide dementia and Alzheimer's care?

Yes. Our caregivers support people living with dementia and Alzheimer's with patience, routine, safety and companionship, and we give family caregivers guidance and relief.

Do you offer 24-hour or live-in care?

Yes. We offer 24-hour and live-in care for clients who need someone with them around the clock, as well as hourly visits for those who need help part of the day.

How quickly can care start?

We understand care needs often come up suddenly, such as after a hospital stay. Call us and we'll schedule your free consultation and talk through how soon we can begin.

Do you offer a free consultation?

Yes. We offer a free in-home care consultation to understand your loved one's needs and build a personalized care plan, with no obligation. Call (425) 790-0005 or request care on our website.
